My appreciation of residential architecture stems from my passion for my own homes.  I loved the 1940's tract house that I grew up in, every apartment I rented in Ann Arbor, every flat I shared in San Francisco and now I love my 1930s Berkeley Bungalow! I believe that the attitude of your house as your home holds true no matter what style, time period or trend you lean towards.
