Mid-Century Kitchen Remodel
Jan wanted to modernize her mid-century modern kitchen and open it up to her dining room. Our design challenge was to keep with the design spirit of the home but with customized contemporary features. The new finishes of ash cabinets, green soap stone counter tops and off white wall tile, complement the existing classic doug fir floors and off white walls. The reconfiguration of the counters maximizes storage and functionality of the room with the main sink cabinet facing the dining room activating the space for entertaining. Custom Ash Cabinets were personalized with details for things like a compost drop, large pull out bins for soil and cat food, lid drawers for pans, knife and spice drawers and built in book cases.
